DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES
 
The Engineering Department Supports a number of engineering related activities. Students are encouraged to participate when possible. Students are especially encouraged to join the Engineering Club and participate in their activities, too.
 
  • Field Trips

  • The Engineering Department, in association with the Engineering Club, sponsors at least two field trips each semester.

  • Guest Speakers

  • The department, in cooperation with the Engineering Club,  hosts a series of guest speakers from business, industry, and area universities. Look for posted information about these activities.
  • Videos

  • The Engineering Department and The Engineering Club both have excellent libraries of Engineering related videos. Many of these are shown on a regular basis in Engineering 148 and at Engineering Club meetings. Although these cannot be checked out, they can be played, upon request, in the CAD Classroom (A-216) at a convenient time. Some of the video topics include:
